21 to 29 are one word: veintiuno, veintidós, veintitrés, veinticuatro... From 31, the tens and units are joined by y "and": treinta y uno, cuarenta y cinco, noventa y nueve.

Hundreds and thousands

cien is a hundred exactly, ciento a hundred and more: ciento veinte "120". mil doesn't take "one" or a plural: mil, dos mil, diez mil. A million is un millón, and before a noun it takes de: un millón de personas, dos millones de euros.

Numbers that agree

uno and the numbers ending in it agree with their noun: un libro, una casa, veintiún años, veintiuna personas. The hundreds from 200 agree too: doscientos hombres, doscientas mujeres.

Writing numbers

Spain and much of Latin America use a comma for decimals and a point for thousands: 3,5 "three and a half", 1.000 "a thousand". Mexico and Central America write them as English does.

First, second, third

primero, segundo, tercero, cuarto, quinto, sexto, séptimo, octavo, noveno, décimo. They agree like adjectives, and primero and tercero drop their -o before a masculine noun: el primer día, el tercer piso.
