The words 'beautiful' and 'ugly' are relative terms.

The ugly side of myself tears me up.

Beauty without goodness is worth nothing.

She was wearing an ugly dress.

Death is the ugly fact which Nature has to hide and she hides it well.

There is no point in calling such buildings 'ugly'.
